justify;\">Jailed Azerbaijani activist Leyla Yunus has written a <a title=\"Torture Once Again.... \" href=\"http:\/\/www.rferl.org\/content\/leyla-yunus-letter-harrassment\/26727712.html\" target=\"_blank\">letter<\/a> describing being harrassed by a group of young men who entered her Baku cell without explanation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The letter, which was sent to Yunus&#8217;s daughter [<a title=\"Dinara Yunus: &quot;Help me save my mother&quot;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.meydan.tv\/en\/site\/politics\/3822\/Dinara-Yunus-Help-me-save-my-mother.htm\" target=\"_blank\">read Dinara Yunus&#8217;s plea<\/a>] through an intermediary, says the men, dressed in overcoats and civilian clothes, entered her cell on the evening of November 25 and made sexually threatening gestures.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Yunus says prison officials reprimanded her the next day for insulting medical personnel.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Yunus, 58, has been held in detention since July on charges of high treason related to her work in neighboring Armenia.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Her lawyers say she is in extremely poor health and has been subjected to beatings and lack of medical care for advanced liver disease.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Yunus&#8217;s husband, Arif Yunus, is also being held in detention on similar charges.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The couple says the cases against them are politically motivated.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<div
